The\u00a0Caribbean\u00a0Research\u00a0Group\u00a0was\u00a0established\u00a0in\u00a02014\u00a0and\u00a0it\u00a0is\u00a0the\u00a0first\u00a0such\u00a0research\u00a0group\u00a0in\u00a0Hungary.\u00a0Our\u00a0aim\u00a0is\u00a0to\u00a0investigate\u00a0the\u00a0significance\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0Caribbean\u00a0region,\u00a0to\u00a0bring\u00a0together\u00a0various\u00a0interests\u00a0related\u00a0to\u00a0it\u00a0and\u00a0to\u00a0stimulate\u00a0further\u00a0research\u00a0and\u00a0teaching\u00a0on\u00a0the\u00a0region\u00a0from\u00a0a\u00a0comparative,\u00a0cross-cultural\u00a0and\u00a0interdisciplinary\u00a0perspective.<\/p>\n

Besides\u00a0members\u00a0of\u00a0Spanish\u00a0and\u00a0Latin\u00a0American\u00a0Studies\u00a0at\u00a0the\u00a0University\u00a0of\u00a0Szeged,\u00a0this\u00a0group\u00a0incorporates\u00a0colleagues\u00a0from\u00a0other\u00a0Hungarian\u00a0universities\u00a0with\u00a0research\u00a0interests\u00a0on\u00a0the\u00a0Caribbean\u00a0area.<\/p>\n

Our\u00a0future\u00a0joint\u00a0projects\u00a0include\u00a0the\u00a0organization\u00a0of\u00a0workshops,\u00a0conferences\u00a0and\u00a0publications\u00a0through\u00a0active\u00a0participation\u00a0in\u00a0Hungarian\u00a0and\u00a0international\u00a0researches\u00a0and\u00a0academic\u00a0meetings\u00a0on\u00a0the\u00a0topic\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0Caribbean.<\/p>\n
